Great series of shots here Sean; a real pleasure to look through.
I really like the way you shoot through an area to capture the subject as in number #1, #8, #9 & #10 … a classic ‘energy photographic’ style.

Keep ‘em coming.
All the best to you,
Glyn :)

Inverness Wedding Photography in Scotland

Inverness Wedding Photography in Scotland Although I photograph about 50 wedding a year across the UK, I only shoot a handful of ‘destination’ weddings. This weekend, I flew up to Inverness in Scotland for Kirsteen and Gary’s wedding. An amazing wedding (as they all are!) it was held outside at Portmahomack lighthouse. After the ceremony...

These are the most dramatic, beautiful and different wedding photos I have ever seen. You have captured the moment and the spirit perfectly. It was a fantastic day, and you have immortalised it forever.

Sean,

As usual a great series of images.
Photographing a Civil Partnership takes real skill on behalf of the photographer. Now that may sound a strange thing to say at first because why should a Civil Partnership be any different to photographing a (for want of a better phrase) traditional wedding?

Your skill here is in showing that the male couple involved are partners and lovers rather than being ‘mates’. Does that make sense? It could be easy to photograph two same sex partners together but would they look like a ‘couple’? Well I do believe that this is what you have managed to do, so well done to you.

Many same sex couples are in my opinion done a disservice by some photographers but certainly not in this case.

A pleasure to see not only lighting skill but sensitive composition too.
Regards,
Glyn

The Elvetham Hotel wedding photographs for Maria & Adrian

The Elvetham Hotel is a great wedding venue in Hampshire. I photographed two weddings within a week at this hotel. Here is the long awaited wedding of Maria & Adrian at The Elvetham. Maria’s veil was the longest I think I have ever seen on a bride. Elvetham Hotel Wedding Photographs

Hi Sean,
Absolutely STUNNING photos of Emma & Matts Wedding.

Glyn Dewis - May 5, 2010 - 3:23 pm

Great series of images Sean; difficult to narrow it down but my fave has to be the one including the Morris Minor; wonderful lighting and detail in the sky.

As always through a series of beautiful lit and composed photos you’ve managed to pass on the fun & excitement of the day.

Great work; thanks for sharing.
Glyn
