Canterbury Cathedral Wedding Photography

Canterbury Cathedral Weddings are quite special and the chances of Anna Sofia and Andy meeting are extraordinary. Anna Sofia has lived in many different countries and Andy grew up in Jamaica. Having been at university together, they lost touch but met again through Facebook. They were obviously meant to be together. The usual chaos at the bride’s house was made all the better by the welcome I received from her family and friends. Her very confident young nieces and nephews who had flown in from Canada were amazing. Hattie helped me to take pictures, Jamie saved his incredible dancing until the evening and William (aka WC Hammer) was to be the DJ for the whole night.

After the intimate ceremony, just the family returned to the parent’s home for tea and sandwiches. It was great to see a couple relaxed on their wedding day and actually having some time together. As Anna Sofia is half Swedish, the tradition of anyone that wishes to make a speech, can was honoured with a great succession of friends and family toasting the couple. Have a fantastic time on your ‘mystery honeymoon’ guys. Here is just a selection from the day. Any comments in the box at the bottom would be great.
