Guildford Wedding Photographer
Kevin and Rachels wedding at the Meon Valley Marriot was an incredibly emotional day. I don’t think I have seen this many tears in a long time. Very happy tears of course. I am not sure that Kevin thought it was the best omen for the day when he caught and ripped his trousers in a ‘strategic place’ with only a few minutes to go to the ceremony. Thankfully a fix was found and I don’t think anyone noticed. During the ceremony itself, Kevins brother read a very emotional prayer which was felt by everyone in the room. The speeches after the wedding breakfast were again full of emotion. Kevin made such a respectful speech to Rachels parents and then to his brothers and sister that I think the whole top table had a tear in their eye. Then with Lyndsay the bridesmaids final speech, I think the whole room went!
As a photographer, I always go were the best light. Sunsets are always fantastic and I couldn’t have asked for a nicer one and thankfully Kevin and Rachel had the time to get some extra images. I rarely comment on specific images but I couldn’t believe it when I saw their shadow hitting the spray from the sprinkler and this then creating a second shadow on the ground! I got this image about a second before the sprinklers switched off! At some weddings, the dancing takes a while to get going. However, I think you can see by the images here that it never stopped at this wedding. From the moment the first dance was over, the dance floor didn’t go quiet once! I don’t think Rachels mum and dad didn’t leave the dance floor once.
I hope you like the sneak peek into their wedding. Please comment or leave a message for Rachel and Kevin below.
