Leez Priory Wedding Photographer
This was my first wedding at Leez Priory. Its odd as its such a popular venue that I had not been there before. This is in fact my 199th wedding. Kenny is Chinese and apparently the number 9 signifies longevity which is good when it comes to marriages of course. I arrived early for Amy’s preparation as as the boys were due at 11 for their ‘games’. This is a series of tasks that can range form very simple through to very extreme challenges so that the groom can win the bride and take her to the wedding. After being allowed into the cottage, the boys had to brush their teeth with wasabi, sign Bruno Mars while performing the crab position and pass seaweed mouth to mouth. Kenny even had to show his dancing skills with the ‘ladies’ to show his charming ways!
After the tea ceremony, Amy changed for the ceremony under the tower. It was a sunny but very windy day which was concentrated through the space under the tower. After a short ceremony, the walked back down the aisle being showered by the hand made confetti. After dinner, everyone returned to the main house for a break before the first dance. After a few tequilas and whiskeys, I took Amy and Kenny for a few finishing shots around the grounds.
Here is a selection of photos from their wedding. I hope they convey the vibrancy and energy from the day. Please feel free to leave your comments below or a message for the bride and groom.
