Rachel and Kyle’s wedding was just one of those days that flowed. We were blessed with autumn sunshine. Often when I meet the bride and bridesmaids and they appear super relaxed, I get worried. Often this means that suddenly everything goes from calm to super stressed when the realisation of what needs to be done can kick in. However, this never happened. Rachel’s bridesmaids got themselves and the flower girls ready and everyone was a head of schedule (unheard of on a wedding day!). The ceremony was lovely with one of their daughters being the first to walk down the aisle. Everyone also held a flower in memory of Rachel’s father which was a lovely gesture. When Rachel’s brother ‘gave’ her hand to Kyle, he did utter the words ‘keep her’ which had the whole room laughing.
There was a huge amount of effort in the small details of the day. Each table had a unique bird-cage filled with flowers and this theme extended to the cake which was also in the shape of a bird-cage. Once again, surprise singing waiters got the everyone up and enjoying themselves during dessert. I think the whole room cried during the speeches. Then it was party time. It was fantastic to see Rachel, Kyle and the guests fill the dance floor. Of course I don’t think the Jagermeister shots contributed in any way to the moves that were happening.
I hope you like this sneak peek at some of the images from their day. Feel free to leave a comment or share the images.
