Set in delightful wooded parkland in Richmond with views towards the River Thames, Marble Hill House is an elegant venue for your special day. I love the unique ambiance of this fashionable Georgian villa as well as the hand painted Chinese wallpaper in the dining parlour great as a back drop for key images!
Marble Hill House was built in the 1720’s for Henrietta Howard, Countess of Suffolk and mistress of George II and became one of the most fashionable residences of the period, where artists, authors, poets and politicians of the day frequently gathered.
Today, Marble Hill House retains its peaceful setting, tasteful interiors and a superb collection of paintings. It is one of the ‘newest’ properties available for hire and has only recently become available for civil wedding ceremonies and drinks receptions.
