St Hilda’s College Wedding Photographer
Special occasions call for special settings, and there are few more special than the secret jewel that is St Hilda’s College, Oxford. Graceful, functional buildings are set in elegant gardens, the river Cherwell meanders through the grounds, the spires and towers of Oxford can be glimpsed across the meadows – and all within easy walking distance of the city centre. As St Hilda’s College Wedding Photographer, I love the architecture on offer in this venue, simply stunning.
It would be hard to imagine more elegant surroundings for a wedding than St Hilda’s College. The Jacqueline du Pré Building and its architecturally impressive glass-fronted Brian Duke Foyer provide the perfect reception area, or you could erect a marquee on the centrally placed South Lawn. Alternatively, the charm and character of the Regency Hall building offers an impressive backdrop for functions and photographs. Refreshments of all kinds, from finger-food to formal banquets, are all available on request. The professional team are always happy to tailor their provision to your needs.
The college provides an elegant setting for receptions, dinners, weddings, civil ceremonies, and other social occasions, either in Hall, the Brian Duke Foyer or on the lawns with the river and Oxford as your backdrop.
The dining hall can seat up to 200. With wood panelled walls, chandeliers and portraits of former Principals adorning the room, it is a beautiful venue for receptions. They are very flexible and happy to discuss your requirements, and work with you to create everything for your special day. You will have the use of the dining hall and lawns for the day and evening, and they will organise your day to suit your individual needs.
