As Kneller Hall Wedding Photographer, I feel honoured every time I get to work with a couple at this stunning venue. Home of the Royal Military School of Music and Headquarters of the British Army’s Corps of Army Music where public summer concerts and other occasional musical events are held throughout the year. The Royal Military School of Music was formed at Kneller Hall in 1857 by Field Marshall HRH The Duke of Cambridge, then Commander in Chief of the British Army.
Built in 1709, Kneller Hall was originally the house of the celebrated court painter Sir Geoffrey Kneller. A Phase 2 Training Establishment of the British Army, music tuition is delivered by some of the country’s leading music and academic professors, many of them the same people who play in the great London symphony orchestra and teach in the leading London music colleges. Also housing the British Military Music Museum with its unique collection of instruments, uniforms, records, photographs and music going back over 200 years, the collection is open to the public.
