2 years ago, I photographed Anna & Martins fantastic wedding at Horsley Towers. Near the end of the night Anna threw her bouquet from the stairs and it was caught very enthusiastically by Carolyne. Its still my favourite bouquet catching image. Fast forward to this week and I was delighted to be capturing Carolyne and Alex’s wedding at Northbrook Park.
The early ceremony set the day up for being one of the most relaxing I have been to. They had lots of time to mingle with friends and family before the wedding breakfast. They have a very talented collection of friends who entertained everyone, This included an opera singer, a contemporary singer, a bongo player and a saxophonist. They had put so much effort into the little details of the day. All the invites included an origami cut out of the two of them and their was a competition to see what guest could photograph theirs in the best location. The Mr & Mrs Morgan in scrabble letters that was across the top table was quickly rearranged to spell something slightly different (see below).
Speeches of course included tears as well as laughter and then it was onto the evening which not only included a live band, a phootbooth and a giant illuminated “L.O.V.E” but also a fire act on the lawn.
Carolyne and Alex just seem to be made for each other. Their day represented them so well. I feel privileged to have been part of their day. Here is a sneak peek of their day. Feel free to leave any comment or a message for them below.
