Planning a weeding is all encompassing for every bride and groom. However, for Claire it was also the week that she opened her first hair salon which can only have added to the amount of work required. Westonbirt is a stunning school with so much history and endless photo opportunities. Both Claire and Tom got ready in the same hotel so I was able to spend time with both of them in the morning. The church service was added to by the male voice choir who really added to the hymns.
We were blessed with a late summers day so everyone could enjoy the fantastic gardens along with drinks and canapes before entering the main hall for the wedding breakfast with all the tables named after local ciders! Claire and Tom also had their own thrones. Occasionally, I am sat with the guests but I have certainly never been given a seat with all the bridesmaids. It was a lovely way to spend the wedding breakfast. I did of course tear myself away to take the occasional photo. Toms speech was hilarious. I would never dare to say some of the things that he did but he seemed to get away with them!
After the wedding breakfast, the guests were treated to the largest sweet table I have seen at a wedding along with a great live band that had everyone dancing. Here is a sneak peek of the day. Feel free to leave ay comments for Claire and Tom or about the images below.
Thank you to the 4 lovely bridesmaids. Not only for putting up with me at dinner but for being super helpful throughout the day!
